The final variant of the Austin 7, some 20,171 Austin Big 7s were produced between 1937 and 1939. Around 2,000 survive worldwide, of which 1,000 are believed to be roadworthy. This 1939 example was bought by West Riding Classics from a collection which was being disbanded due to retirement. After a short stay in their Luddendenfoot showroom, it was sold this summer to a gentleman called Terry from Pontypridd, along with a 1936 Morris 8. Terry bought the cars to pass on to his two grandsons for their inheritance.
