2/10/14 / new print / RIP MPV
This Toyota Previa was abandoned on Ovenden Moor a few weeks back - and it seemingly wasn't long before it was sent to the great junkyard in the sky. It's only 100 yards from where I took 'Death Of A Salesvan' six months previously, and the presence of a helicopter overhead for the ten minutes I was shooting suggests it is still under scrutiny.
I get *so* much enjoyment out of taking shots like this. Most landscape photography does nothing for me: see something 'beautiful' (sunrise/sunset/waterfall), compose beautiful shot, enhance beauty in Photoshop, publish beautiful pic, sit back and lap up the praise. Where's the fun in that?
